100 percent handwoven pure Katan silk, this Benarasi saree is a magnificent creation of Mitan Ghosh Design. The eclecticism of the saree lies in its amalgamation of two distinct weaves, in one fabric. The entire tapestry is a beautiful culmination of design inspired from the authentic Maharashtrian floral Paithani and that of original Benarasi weave. While the border of this saree is a rich implementation of the Kadhua Tehra Meenakari weave, true to the Paithani inspiration , the entire body of the saree is bejewelled with Sona Rupa Kadhua butas, owing to its rich Benarasi roots. True to its name, Yamini is indeed reminiscent to a purple pink starry night, bedazzling the cosmos around it.
