Inspired by textiles, intricate weaves, and vibrant colours, Mitan finds her creative voice in the fast-paced world of fashion. Her love for travel and diverse cultures beautifully reflects in her work, enriched by years of dressing clients from across the globe.

An alumna of South Delhi Polytechnic Women’s College and NIFT Chennai, she has been nurturing her brand of exquisitely handcrafted Banarasi sarees for over 14 years, where every piece tells a story of heritage, artistry, and timeless elegance.

Her designs have been worn by many celebrated personalities including Miss America New Jersey, Super model Ujjwala Raut, Former CNBC/CNN Newsreader Joya Dass, Madhuri Dixit, Celina Jaitly, Esha Deol, Tanishtha Chatterjee, Tillotama Shome, along with Pheroza Godrej, besides many powerful women worldwide.

Recognized for her contribution to fashion, Mitan is a recipient of the Women’s Achievement Award for Fashion and a Times NRI 2018 nominee.
